Grand Prix in Siena

SMÁFUGLAR (2 BIRDS) won The Grand Prix for the Best Film at The 13th Siena International Short Film Festival.
The prize was awarded during the closing ceremony of the Festival which took place Saturday 29 at at Cinema Nuovo Pendola.

Smafuglar (2 Birds) is in The Official Selection at The Pontino Short Film Festival. ,

The 21st European Film Awards

All The Short Films that are nominated for The 21st European Film Awards will be screened in Cinemateket in Copenhagen the 4th of Desember.
The screening is a part of The European Film Week in copenhagen that ends with The European Film Academy Award ceremony

Official Selection In Leuven

Smáfuglar (2 Birds) is in the Official Selection at The 14th International Short Film Festival in Leuven
The festival takes place 29 November - 6 December in Kunstencentrum STUK.
Smáfuglar (2 Birds) are the second film of Runarsson’s Crossroad trilogy. The first one is the award winning and Oscar nominated short film Síðasti Bærinn (The Last Farm) MORE INFO.
That will be screened as well in Leuven in a program Called "Focus Iceland".

Smáfuglar (2 Burds) is in the official selection for The 7th International Festival of Shorts "Almeria in Short" .
The Festival takes place 5-13 of December in Almeria in Spain.

Smáfuglar ( 2 Birds) received two awards and a special mention at 23rd Brest European Short Film Festival that finished the 15th of november.It was The : Prix du Jury Jeune ,Prix Européen France 2 ,Mention spéciale Prix Européen du Conseil Régional de Bretagne that Smáfuglar flew home with.

The Edda Award

The members of The Icelandic film Academy elected Smáfuglar (2 Birds) The Best Short at the annual Edda Award ceremony in Reykjavik. The Main Actor of The Film Atli Óskar Fjalarsson was present to receive the award.
